Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The world’s oldest cat named Tiffany Two at 27-years, two months and nine days passed away May 22 in her sleep, ABC News reported.
Tiffany Two’s owner Sharron Voorhees, who is in her 70s revealed that her cat, who was recognized in October by the Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest living cat, died while sleeping next to her on a heated pad.
“I feel okay about everything. I did have a long time with her and I feel the end was as perfect as it can be without morbidity. She just loved me to pieces and was clearly devoted to me,” Mrs. Voorhees told ABC News.
Mrs. Voorhees bought the cat had been living when she was six-weeks-old for $10 from her local pet shop but in recent months had changed her behavior.
“She spent her last days laying either on the deck or down in the yard. She used to sleep right next to me every night. But in recent months she slept in the middle of the staircase or, most recently, she had taken up residence on the dog’s huge pillow-bed in the living room,” Mrs. Voorhees told ABC News.
