Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) said that numerous countries are interested in learning from the experience gained by the Jordanian-Indonesian fertilizer industries, following the recently concluded Asian-African Summit in Jakarta.
The JPMC Chairman, Amer Majali, who attended the summit as a keynote speaker, said JPMC succeeded in establishing a fertilizer manufacturing factory in Indonesia and is still developing the legal and technical framework to operate two other factories, while increasing international interest in cooperating with Jordan.
The Asian-African Summit sought to promote common development on the two continents.
The partnership between Jordan and Indonesia took a new turn in 2008 when JPMC and Petrokimia Gresik Company in Indonesia agreed to establish a joint venture, dubbed Petro Jordan Abadi, which is a phosphoric acid manufacturing company launched in 2014, the Jordanian official added.
