Cold, cloudy weather forecast over next two days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Sunday becoming 11-12 degrees below their annual average. Therefore the weather will be cold and cloudy with heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightening at times in most parts of the Kingdom.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), hail is also expected in the hilly areas, especially over Al-Sharah Mountains in Maan. Winds will be westerly brisk to moderate.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Monday, but they will remain below their annual average by 8-9 degrees. Therefore it will continue to be relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy with light rain, especially in the northern and central regions.
The weather will gradually stabilize at night, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk changing to southwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
A further rise in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday, but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and mild in other parts of the country with clouds at various altitudes. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate.
Temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach a high of 11 degrees and a low of 6 degrees at night.
