Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Prevention and Self Protection Department at theCivil Defence Directorate (CDD) has urged commercial and industrial business owners to utilize the ‘TawasolFeedback System on Business Inspection Performance’. Tawasol enables business owners to assess inspection procedures carried out by the CDD and provide relevant feedback and suggestions in order to enhance the implemented processes.
Tawasol is a user-friendly and time-efficient electronic system that facilitates the provision of feedback on inspection processes from anywhere, at anytime and with full confidentiality. Business owners are required to fill a short, straightforward surveyabout their inspection visit. The surveycan be obtained throughTawasol mobile applicationon either the Apple Store and Google Store,or by visiting
www.tawasol.gov.jo. By utilizing Tawasol, business owners can evaluate inspectors’ overall performance, qualifications, behaviors, procedure compliance, procedure neutrality and information transparency during inspections, in addition to the visit’s scheduled time and duration.
The CDD stressed that adopting Tawasol corresponds with its efforts to collect feedback from service recipients in order to take correctional measures regarding the inspection mechanism, implementation practices, technical regulations and management standards, thus developing the inspection system as a whole. Tawasol allows the CDD to analyze issues, obstacles and suggestions presented by business owners, determine their causes and look into possible methods to overcome them.
The Prevention and Self Protection Department at the CDD carries out inspections within multiple key sectors to ensure that general safety standards and practices are implemented at its institutions. Involved sectors and industries include tourism, restaurants and hotels; engineering and contracting; and energy, chemicals, gas and fuel materials; all of which comprise a total of 15,000 establishments across Jordan.
Tawasol is part of the National Inspection Reform Program, which is executed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supplies (MoITS) in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - a member of the World Bank Group - and is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
