King leaves for Washington on working trip

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Monday heading for Washington on a working visit during which he will meet with US President Barack Obama on December 5.

The King and the US President will discuss ways to advance the strategic relations between the two countries in various fields as well as the latest developments in the Middle East.

King Abdullah will also meet with key US administration officials, House and Senate leaders and Washington-based think tanks.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
