Army chief starts U.S. trip

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lit. Gen. Mashal Mohammed al-Zabin, on Saturday, started an official several-day visit to the United States for talks with U.S. Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, and a number of senior officials in the Defense Department.

The talks will focus on means to cement cooperation and coordination between the armies of the two countries. During the visit, Al-Zabin will also meet with a number of chiefs of staff of armies of friendly countries.
