King visits air force base

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Tuesday, visited one of the Royal Air Force bases.

The King was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, HRH Prince Faisal, and the commander of the Royal Air Force.

His Majesty was briefed by the commander of the Royal Air Force on the preparations and actions taken by various arms formations, in order to maintain the security of the Kingdom's land and sky, stressing that the Air Force personnel will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives defending their homeland.

At the end of the royal visit, King Abdullah met with the air base personnel and voiced his admiration of the outstanding level and disciplinary the Royal Air Force and the armed forces soldiers enjoy.
