PM receives Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour stressed Jordan's continued support to the Palestinians and their leadership's efforts to establish a viable Palestinian state on their national soil.

The premier's remarks came as he met Palestinian Deputy Prime and Minister of Culture, Ziad Abu-Amir, in the presence of Minister of Culture, Lana Mamkegh, and the Palestinian ambassador to Amman, Attala Khairy.

Ensour discussed with the Palestinian official ways to enhance the scope of cooperation, especially in the cultural field.

The Palestinian minister voiced his leadership's appreciation of the King, his government and the people of Jordan for their stance during the Israeli aggression against Gaza strip.

He praised His Majesty's wisdom which has been of help in preserving the sense of security and stability in Jordan despite the current situation in the region.
