Gendarmerie officer killed in Ma'an

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Gendarmerie officer was killed Sunday morning in the southern city of Ma'an after a number of outlaws fired on a Gendarmerie patrol in the city, the General Directorate of the Gendarmerie announced.

"Director General of the Gendarmerie Department, Major General Ahmad Ali Al Sweilmeen, has ordered that a commission of inquiry be formed, in coordination with other security agencies, to identify the perpetrators and arrest them," a security source at the Directorate said.
