Army chief checks on Jordanian-Iraqi borders

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mishal Mohammed al-Zabin, on Tuesday, visited the Jordanian-Iraqi borders, where he toured a number of formations and military units stationed on the borders.

The army chief gave orders to "deal firmly with anything that might disturb the security of citizens and not to allow anyone to approach or breach any inch of the borders of the Kingdom illegally and use extreme force and various kinds of weapons when needed." Al-Zabin was briefed on measures taken to protect the security of the borders and prevent any attempts of infiltration and smuggling, or any attempts that would threaten the security of the kingdom and its citizens.
