Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordanian authorities issued new instructions on Sunday to prevent the entry of Syrian into Jordan except for those who meet certain conditions , KUNA reported.

A decision was made to prevent the Syrians from entering Jordan except for those who have residency permits from Jordan, United States, Europe or one of the Gulf States as well as transit passengers who hold confirmed tickets for destinations after Jordan, a statement by the Syrian airliner said.

The warning, distributed by the company, said the decision went into effect as of last Thursday.
The total number of Syrian refugees in countries neighboring Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crises has reached more than three million with an anticipation it would reach four million at the end of this year.
