Ammon News - AMMONNEWS- Talks broke down between the Muslim Brotherhood Mediation Committee, headed by Abdul Latif Arabiyat, and the three "Zamzam initiative" leaders. The committee was formed to help mitigate the crisis that resulted in the suspension of Rheil Gharaibeh, Ahmad Dheisat and Nabil Kofahi.

According to the Jordan Times, "conservative-leaning members of the negotiation team are pushing the Brotherhood to offer the three men a full return to the movement provided they sever all ties with the Zamzam initiative."

Next Saturday, The northern chapter is expected to hold a general "reform" conference that could draw hundreds of MB's members. If successful, the conference would constitute an unprecedented and direct challenge to current Brotherhood leadership.
