Jordan takes part in Algiers International fair

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A total of 32 Jordanian companies will take part in the 47th Algiers International Fair which kicks off in Algiers tomorrow , Petra News Agency reported.

Chief Executive Officer of the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) Yaroub Al Qudah, said companies taking part in the fair operate in the sectors of health, medical appliances, medicine, food products, packing, vegetable oil, engineering designing, plastic, and construction.

He added that the six-day event will be attended by 850 Arab and foreign companies from 20 countries.

Qudah said Jordan's participation will help enhance the presence of local industries in the markets of Algeria and Africa and increase the Kingdom's exports to the North Africa Arabs state.

Jordan's exports to Algeria stood at JD101.7 million last year while imports amounted to JD2.6 million.
