Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An official Jordan Armed Forces source, on Wednesday, said borders guards engaged with a group of people trying to infiltrate the Kingdom's northern borders coming from Syria.

The source added that two of the infiltrators were injured and were rushed to a nearby field clinic while the others fled the scene.

Meanwhile, border guards rushed 8 Syrian nationals suffering shrapnel injuries in Syria to Jordanian hospitals.

Over the past 48 hours, 1,154 Syrian refugees crossed into the Kingdom and were sent to refugees camps, the army said.
