King meets Amir of Kuwait, Lebanese, Palestinian presidents

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, discussed with Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, ways to cement Jordanian-Kuwaiti ties in various domains to achieve their common interests and serve the Arab issues.

His Majesty congratulated His Highness Sheikh Sabah on successful surgery and medical examinations he has undergone recently in the United States.

The two leaders held talks dealt with a number of regional issues, especially efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and the latest developments in Syria .

They stressed that regional circumstances require constant coordination and consultation to promote pan-Arab solidarity to address challenges facing the Arab nation and safeguard strategic interests.

The King also met with Lebanese President General Michel Suleiman, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Arab League-UN envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, and discussed with them bilateral ties and a number of and regional issues.
