Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met on the sidelines of the Arab Summit, with the Jordanian media delegation participating in the event being held in Kuwait.

Enosur said that Jordan distances itself from interfering in internal Arab affairs and has strong ties with all Arab countries.

The situation in the Arab region, he said, is the most difficult in its history and requires unified Arab efforts.

On a draft resolution in the summit on the Syrian refugees and the burden being shouldered by Jordan, the prime minister said that Jordan seeks to enhance international charters that focus on the return of the refugees to their country as per an Arab League decision.

He said Jordan is taking an open minded approach about the burden posed by the Syrian refugees in its territory in order to continue to accept their presence in Jordan since "what we do is a humanitarian effort towards our Syrian brethren." ?
