Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa grounds

09-03-2014 12:38 PM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Israeli extremist settlers, led by radical Rabbi Yehuda Glick, on Sunday stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, barging in via the Al-Magharebah Gate.

Palestinian sources said that Glick spoke about the alleged Temple while settlers rolled into the compound in small and successive groups, conducting provocative tours in the Mosque's facilities.

Meanwhile, hundreds of students from Jerusalem's schools flocked into the Mosque and carried out exploratory and educational activities, while Israeli police stationed at the main gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque imposed strict measures on the entry of young Palestinians into the mosque and confiscated the identity cards of those who were allowed in.
