Iraq demands Jordan accurate data for the damage caused to its nationals during the invasion of Kuwait

Ammon News - (Moscow News)- Iraqi lawmakers demanded Jordan to provide documents and accurate data on the debt owed by Amman demanding compensation for the damage to its nationals who were in Kuwait during the invasion of the territory of the latter in 1990 during the regime of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein race.
A source close to the Iraqi prime minister said in an interview with “Moscow News” that with the visit of the Jordanian Prime Minister to Baghdad a meeting was held to discuss the commissions shared between the two countries including the implications of the Iraqi government to settle Jordan debt with its civilians. The source assumed that the matter would be settled during the next committee meetings.

A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, for the ruling coalition, Secretary Hadi , suggested that Jordan did not provide the documents and statistics on the debt claimed by Iraq , and there is nothing official on this matter , but simply claims.
