Ensour: talks with Iraq continue

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Ensour Jordan's spoke on the commitment to set the borders with neighboring countries , noting that the Kingdom " did not allow any terrorist to enter neighboring countries , including Iraq ."

Ensour announced in a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart, Nouri al-Maliki in Baghdad on Wednesday , for the approval of the Iraqi government to release a number of Jordanian prisoners in Iraq , expressing his appreciation for this position , which comes as part of an exchange agreement governed.

Ensour in his speech to the owners, as quoted by Iraqi news sites " did not promise anything but and I did , we are dealing with an honest man , so we are also what we have to say will do ," pointing out " what binds our two countries much and what is possible to do much more ."

Ensour continued , "We are on the readiness of the large , moderate Jordan as clear and frank , which has nothing to hide , the other in the development of Jordan and are counting on the partnership between our two countries ."


He added , " During the meeting we discussed the most important strategic issues of the Iraqi oil pipeline to Jordan , which is important for the two countries and we are reassured to the success of the project."

The Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki announced that the draft oil pipeline between Iraq and Jordan reached the stage of contract with the executing companies.

Maliki said " We have discussed with the Jordanian side project to extend an oil pipeline with Jordan through Aqaba , which became the stage of contracting with companies executed along with D railway between the two countries for the transfer of goods and facilitate the movement of Iraq via Jordan to Asia and all countries in the region ."

Maliki said " We also discussed cooperation between the two countries, the agricultural side through the import of agricultural materials needed by Iraq from Jordan , as well as discuss the role of businesses in providing Alardina Iraqi Ministry of Trade materials ration card ."

And between the Iraqi prime minister , " As we discussed the development of the field of transport in the fields multiple , and regulate the movement of visitors and delegations and businessmen , as well as the security aspects and political attitudes of the current events in the region, through the commitment of the direction the moderate in the face of challenges region and violence. "

Maliki said, " As we discussed outstanding issues between Iraq and Jordan , and we discussed the need to find a solution to these outstanding matters through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Jordan , and we will sign the charter of cooperation in bilateral trade between the two countries ."

The Eagles arrived in Baghdad this morning on an official visit to Iraq a one-day to discuss a number of shared issues, including oil and intra-regional trade, agriculture and transport.
