Ensour appreciates the efforts of the municipality in Salt

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Ensour appreciates the large benevolent efforts made by the cadres of the Municipality of Greater Salt in dealing with the snowstorm that affected the Kingdom in the past few days according to a statement issued by the municipality.

He applauded efforts contributed to the opening of municipal roads and streets, and to overcome the obstacles in front of the people of the city, despite the scarcity of potential materials possessed by the municipality , and the rugged mountainous areas in the city.

A statement that the municipality Eagles expressed his thanks and appreciation to the people of the city of Salt and the private sector standing next to the municipality.

This came during a meeting with the Prime Minister in the House presidential mayor of Greater Salt Khalid Al- Khashman, Where the prime minister heard a report on the details of the snowstorm and the role played by the Municipality of Greater Salt in the efforts to open streets and roads since the arrival of snow, which was seen as an exceptional case because of the density of the snow that covered all across the city , especially in the highlands , which reached the thickness of the snow to more than two meters .

The mayor of Salt dealt with the snowstorm in accordance with the emergency plan tailored to meet the ( depressions ) , but the density of the snow that fell for more than three consecutive days requesting help from the private sector and some other municipalities to open the roads and streets , at the time of the mechanisms open road in front of workers in the electricity company to restore the power supply , which cut off from parts of the city during the snowstorm , in addition to its role of human and social , which secured the citizens stranded to their homes , and secure the material bread and gas to many homes .
