Efforts to open roads continue

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Mayor of Amman reported to Ammon that cadres of the Secretariat are in cooperation with the competent agencies to continue to address the repercussions of the blizzard that stretched to different areas of the capital .

He explained that there has been direct efforts since Sunday morning to open roads, including tens of tons of salt distributed on the main streets. However he noted that these efforts continue to face difficulties due to the actions of some drivers who go out in cars that are not designed for such conditions.

He stated that the severity of the blizzard and snow accumulation which was constant over the past three days , as well as the cold wave that accompanied and followed the storm, in addition to the exit of thousands of cars to the streets and disrupt traffic , affected our efforts , but did not stop us , we have worked day and night to cope with such difficulties.
Finally in a statement to Petra , he gives his gratitude to the cadres of the Secretariat and all the relevant agencies and citizens who supported their efforts during the snowstorm
