Roads closed due to snow and freezing

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Media Center Security reports that the case of freezing has began to take shape on a lot of roads and subsidiary in the Kingdom , and that many roads are likely to close because of this.Further more they called upon pedestrians to contact ( 911 ) in the event of a request for help , with an emphasis on not going out of the house unless absolutely necessary .

Regarding the situation of the roads in the various governorates of the Kingdom until the eleventh hour of the evening are as follows :



- Capital Territory all roads impassable with caution and attention with the exception of Jordan Street (near Queen Alia Hospital and north ) is closed due to freezing , and there is a presence of additional closed roads.


Central Region

- All the main roads are closed because of semi- freezing and lack of vision, and sixty Street closed , and Salt to Amman pathways are closed.
- Madaba : all roads are in poor condition pass with caution.



North Country
- Irbid: roads are in poor condition with the presence of closed internal roads.


- West Irbid roads remain in poor condition.

- Ajloun main and branch roads are closed. The road from Ajloun to irbid remains open, however is in more condition and has low visibility.

- Jerash main roads remain in poor condition.



Southern Region

- Tafila main roads remain in poor condition and internal l roads vary from semi-closed to closed.

- The surrounding area of Aqaba contains some closed roads as well as the high presence of fog and ice making visibility virtually non-existent .

- Karak all major roads are in poor condition, travel with care, and some roads are semi-closed.

- Ma'an roads in poor condition, take great caution due to low visibility

- The head of the Negef remains closed.

- Petra external and internal roads are in poor condition.
