Ammon News - Petra - Temperatures will slightly on Tuesday and it will be cold and partly cloudy, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
In the afternoon, the Kingdom will be affected by a depression accompanied by a cold air mass centered over Cyprus; therefore it will be cloudy with rainfall in the northern regions gradually extending to the central parts of the Kingdom. Heavy rain is expected during the night accompanied by thunder and hail at times.
A further in temperatures is expected on Wednesday and it will be cold, cloudy with rain accompanied by thunder and hail at times. Snow fall is also expected in the evening over hilly areas extending gradually at night to the other areas.
Winds will be westerly brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas, according to the JMD.
On Thursday, similar weather conditions will continue as the Kingdom will remain under the effect of the cold front. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly brisk blowing dust in the desert areas.
Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees.
