Ammon News - The Associated Press - New York City police say musicians killed in a shooting at their Brooklyn apartment were members of the Iranian indie rock band The Yellow Dogs.
The band's manager says the shooter was a member of a different group. Police say he opened fire and killed three people, then went to the roof of the East Williamsburg row house, where he killed himself.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says there had been a dispute over money.
Authorities initially thought the shooter was a former member of the band.
The manager of The Yellow Dogs says two members were killed, along with another musician who lived with them but wasn’t in the band.
