King departs for UK on working visit

Ammon News - (Petra) – His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman on Monday for the United Kingdom on a working visit during which he will hold talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron, Foreign Secretary William Hague and other senior officials.

The talks will focus on Jordanian-British ties as well as Arab and international political developments.

The King will also take part along with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries in the 9th World Islamic Economic Forum and will deliver a speech in which he will detail the investment climate and opportunities that Jordan's economy offers and how it is a secure and stable model in the region.

His Majesty will also meet with heads of state and delegations taking part in the forum.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet ministers.
