Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Public prosecutor ordered on Monday to arrest a lawmaker over the Parliament shooting incident, when Talal Sharif pulled out a rifle and fired shots at Qusai Dumeisi, inside the parliament in September.

MP Yahya Soud is being held at Jwaideh prison, South of Amman,for 14 days pending investigation into allegations of incitement.

The Lower House voted to fire MP Talal Sharif from the Kingdom's 17th parliament and also suspended lawmaker Qusai Dumaisi for one year.

Court expected to accept Yahya Soud's bail request.
