PSD director General Tawfiq Hamid Tawalbeh said the plan was launched at a time when the PSD was continuing its security campaign across the Kingdom. The campaign started a few months ago. The plan, he added, followed a thorough review of police work, and was in keeping with the PSD's needs and aspirations to further enhance the performance levels of its members. He noted that the plan included implementing projects and activities involving police work during 2013-2016. General Tawalbeh said the PSD's mission was based on achieving security and providing protection to all the citizens, visitors and refugees in the Kingdom.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) – The Public Security Department (PSD) has launched its 2013-2016 strategic plan aimed at curbing crimes, combating drugs, enhancing traffic safety, improving performance of PSD members and developing the security media.

PSD director General Tawfiq Hamid Tawalbeh said the plan was launched at a time when the PSD was continuing its security campaign across the Kingdom. The campaign started a few months ago.
