King receives invitation from Emir of Kuwait to attend Afro-Arab summit

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) – His Majesty King Abdullah II received on Monday an invitation from the Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Sabah, to attend the 3rd Afro-Arab Summit which will convene in Kuwait next November.

During a meeting with the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Amman, Hamad al Duaij, who delivered the invitation, the King stressed the need to make the summit a success and come up with decisions that contribute in enhancing the joint Afro-Arab action to reach a level that meets the aspirations of Afro-Arab nations and addresses their desire to live in security and peace.

His Majesty expressed his pride in the brotherly ties between Jordan and Kuwait and expressed his keenness to bolster these ties in all fields in the best interest of the people in both the countries.
