Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour is expected to carry out a government reshuffle of his cabinet in the upcoming few days, informed sources said.
Ensour has been preparing for his first cabinet reshuffle of his second government, which was sworn in on March 30, 2013, a cabinet that shrunk from an average of 25-30 ministers to a mere 18-minister cabinet after several ministers were delegated with more than one ministerial portfolio.
The reshuffle, slated to take place this upcoming week, is expected to add 10 new ministers to the cabinet, and the departure of 3-4 ministers.
Informed sources noted that although government measures slated to carry out the reshuffle after the municipal elections (August 27), Ensour nonetheless is expected to reshuffle his cabinet prior to the elections, as he has "concluded preparations of the formation of the new cabinet," according to the sources.
