Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - King Abdullah II on Monday met with Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and reportedly gave the green light to the Premier to reshuffle his cabinet.
Ammon News learned that Ensour sought the King's consent to reshuffle his "slim" 17-member cabinet during the meeting, described by informed sources as the "lengthiest meeting with the King since Ensour became Prime Minister."
The King reportedly approved the reshuffle, to be carried out after the upcoming Municipal Elections, slated to be held on August 27.
King Abdullah discussed with Ensour domestic affairs, and reportedly urged the Prime Minister and his government to stay in touch with citizens and listen to their demands.
The King reappointed Ensour for a second term, and the 17-member cabinet was sworn in on March 30, 2013.
