RJ denies emergency landing in Israel

Ammon News - AMMAN – Royal Jordanian has denied that any of its aircraft made an emergency landing at the Tel Aviv airport in Israel, official spokesman of the company Basel Kilani said on Thursday.

He told Petra that a Greece charter plane that took off from the Crete Island made an emergency landing at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on Thursday.

Israeli media had earlier reported that a Jordanian plane heading for Greece made an emergency landing after its pilot declared a state of emergency due to hydraulic problems in the landing gear. (Petra)
