MP denies transporting Israeli tourist from Petra to Taba

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) Chairman of the Parliament's Committee of Tourism and Antiquities, Adnan Farajat, on Monday denied an Israeli newspaper report that an Israeli tourist was transferred from Petra to the Egyptian resort city of Taba by an Israeli helicopter after suffering an ailment.

Farajat told Petra that the tourist was rushed to the Queen Rania Hospital in Petra, where he received first aid, before being transferred by an ambulance to the southern entry point in Aqaba heading to Eilat.
