The agreements were signed with two charitable societies as part of a programme to empower poverty pockets financed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. According to the ministry, the programme, which has entered its third stage, is implemented in 32 areas where the poverty rate is more than 25 per cent.

Ammon News - AQABA (Petra) — The Noor Al Hussein Foundation on Saturday signed two agreements to finance income-generating projects in Muwaqqar, seeking to improve the living conditions of underprivileged families.

The agreements were signed with two charitable societies as part of a programme to empower poverty pockets financed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.

According to the ministry, the programme, which has entered its third stage, is implemented in 32 areas where the poverty rate is more than 25 per cent.
