Princess Iman bint Al Hussein attends opening of Arab Youth Congress

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) - Deputizing for Her Majesty Queen Noor Al Hussein, Princess Iman bint Al Hussein attended in Amman on Monday the opening ceremony of the 33rd International Arab Youth Congress, which focuses on the theme "the future we want".

Director of the congress Lina Attel stressed the importance of the congress in enhancing solidarity as well as joint efforts to achieve security, peace and development, noting that the theme of the conference tackles the economic, political and social changes the world is witnessing and their impact on humanity.

She appreciated the efforts of the United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA) and the Family Development Foundation (FDF) in Abu Dhabi, the strategic partner of the congress, in supporting the youth conference.

The ceremony was attended by senator Laila Sharaf, executive director of the Noor Al Hussein Foundation Hana Mitri Shahin in addition to a number of ministers and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps.
