Masri meets Armenian minister, discusses relations

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — Senate President Taher Masri and Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan on Tuesday discussed means to develop relations between the two countries.

At a meeting with Ashotyan, Masri highlighted the Kingdom’s drive towards reform and its stance on the latest regional developments, stressing the Kingdom’s call for a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

Masri also stressed the centrality of the Palestinian issue and the need to arrive at a solution that leads to the establishment of an independent Palestine on Palestinian soil with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The visiting minister expressed his country’s desire to increase its cooperation with Jordan, especially in exchanging educational expertise and boosting economic cooperation.
