The destroyed drugs included 21 million pills, 623 kilogrammes of hashish, 75 kilogrammes of heroin, 12 kilogrammes of cocaine, 3,200 kilogrammes of marijuana and 3,300 kilogrammes of methamphetamine. These amounts were seized in 1,476 different cases of drug trafficking, possession and smuggling in which 2,404 suspects were involved, including non-Jordanians, according to the Anti-Narcotics Department.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — The Anti-Narcotics Department on Monday destroyed illegal drugs seized over the past six months.

The destroyed drugs included 21 million pills, 623 kilogrammes of hashish, 75 kilogrammes of heroin, 12 kilogrammes of cocaine, 3,200 kilogrammes of marijuana and 3,300 kilogrammes of methamphetamine.

These amounts were seized in 1,476 different cases of drug trafficking, possession and smuggling in which 2,404 suspects were involved, including non-Jordanians, according to the Anti-Narcotics Department.
