Masri said Jordan is keen to enhance the concept of moderation and the rejection of extremism and violence, pointing to the Amman Message which clarifies the true image of Islam. He praised efforts of the Global Forum for Moderation in promoting moderate Islamic speech that enhances the culture of dialogue and contributes to addressing issues and challenges facing the Islamic nation, especially at this stage. The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the region and stressed the need to activate the principle of moderation.
