Ammon News - MANAMA (Petra) - Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Saad Al Srour on Tuesday conveyed a letter from His Majesty King Abdullah II's to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain during a meeting at Al Sukhair Palace in Manama.

The letter reiterates His Majesty King Abdullah II's pride in the distinguished brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples and His Majesty's interest in working with King Hamad to cement those ties to serve the joint interests of both countries and the whole Arab nation.

Furthermore, the letter reiterated His Majesty King Abdullah II's belief in the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, which contributes to strengthening cooperation and solidarity among parliaments.

King Hamad expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan's stands in support of Bahraini causes and the position of Jordan's lower house towards Arab issues, especially Bahraini causes.

Also, King Hamad commended His Majesty King Abdullah II's wise policy towards various Arab and international issues, praising the constant coordination between Jordan and Bahrain on all issues.

"Jordan has provided a lot to the Arab brethren, in general, and to Bahrain, in particular. Bahrain benefited a lot from the Jordanian expertise in all areas," King Hamad said.
