During the new Cabinet’s first meeting, the government also decided to suspend all cash donations granted to public employees except for the Awqaf Ministry’s Hajj (the greater pilgrimage) and umra (the lesser pilgrimage) delegations. Ensour tasked the Finance Ministry and the Audit Bureau with following up on any violations of the decisions.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — The Cabinet on Sunday decided to stop all forms of cash donations and gifts from public and government-related institutions to any party unless approved by the prime minister.

During the new Cabinet’s first meeting, the government also decided to suspend all cash donations granted to public employees except for the Awqaf Ministry’s Hajj (the greater pilgrimage) and umra (the lesser pilgrimage) delegations.
