Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Prince Talal Bin Mohammad attended in the Saudi capital Riyadh, funeral of the Governor of Riyadh Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, who passed away yesterday.

Prince Talal conveyed condolences of His Majesty the King to the Saudi Monarch Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and the Saudi royal family.

Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, the King's Advisor for Tribal Affairs Sharif Fawaz Zaben Abdullah and Jordan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Jamal Al Shamayleh, also offered their condolences to the Saudi Royal family.


King condoles Saudi monarch over death of Riyadh governor

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday sent a cable to Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud condoling him over the passing away of Governor of Riyadh Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

In his cable, the King expressed his deepest sympathies to the Saudi royal family and people.

Also on Wednesday, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour sent a cable to Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud condoling him over the passing away of the Governor of Riyadh Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Azizi Al Saudi.

In his cable, Ensour expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences over the death of Prince Sattam.
