The peoples of the world are bidding farewell to year 2012 while still disappointed, frustrated and strive to build new contracts with their relevant national entities foremost in the Arab World.
In India, newly developed country and one of the BRICS countries where most rapes and sex crimes go unreported and offenders are rarely punished, women are furious and demonstrating in the aftermath of the death of young medical female student after being raped and tortured by group of men.
The inhabitants of United States, the country that resists the components of the emerging World Order and continue to act as advocate and exporter of ethics and values, are still in a state of shock after the massacre committed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School victimizing the most vulnerable members of the society, children.
The most deprived segments of Southern European States have yet to reconcile with the reality of their modest benefits being further reduced.
Greed for power, authority, influence and wealth continue to disintegrate countries, demolish civilizations and displace populations with further devastating impact through entering into partnership with extreme dark forces and ever by the vicious military-industry circle.
Cities are emptied of its indigenous people, houses of worships are attacked, and believers are persecuted and deprived of the basic human right of worshiping and celebrating the birth of the savior of mankind.
Hence one wonders if initiating new contracts with the states is the right path for a better life with one's dignity preserved given irrespective of new contracts emanating new systems, prevailing insanity of the peoples, both of the rulers and of the ruled, will continue unless new contracts designed and ratified with the divine, represented in ones conscience, precedes that with the mundane authority.
This said, a source of hope originates from a small country of great tolerant culture and enlightened people and leadership. Jordan, where the majority joins the minority in celebrating the glorious Christmas on a national holiday praying for peace and justice to reside on earth. Jordan was and still represents a safe haven for the displaced, where the people, like all inhabitants of other Arab countries, seeks new social contract with the state to bring about the missing and much sought social justice albeit peacefully and without denying their values, ethics, humanity and exhibiting self-restraint and patience above all by the silent majority entitling 2012 to be a year of anguish but equally of hope.
