139 former parliamentarians running for 17th parliament ' Lists'

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The official list of candidates running for parliamentary elections set to be held on January 23rd, revealed that 139 former members of parliament registered for candidacy for the 17th parliament.

68 former members of parliament registered for candidacy for the 17th parliament including 55 of them run for sub-districts, 13 for the national lists.

17 female members of the previous parliament registered for candidacy to run in the house of representatives, according to the Jordanian Parliament watchdog.


Analytical readings of the candidates lists indicate that most former parliament deputies run for the local district reach to 107, while 32 of them run for the national list.

The table above shows the distribution of the former representatives all over the Governorates including 3 districts in the Badia.
