A source told Ammon News that ten of the SSC Agreed to release 10 of the detainees on bai, 1,000 Jordanian Dinars, noting that the release of the rest of the detainees will be during the next two weeks.
SSC released, during the last weeks, more than 100 persons who were arrested during and after the recent riots.
About 150 citizens were arrested including 19 teenagers. The arrests by security forces of over 13 pro-reform activists as well since September 7, 2012, signals the government’s toughening stand toward demands for political reform in the kingdom, according to the National Center for Human Rights.
