Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A Student in Mu'tah University, located in the southern city of Karak, was killed after one of his colleague stabbed him during a fight that erupted between them on Monday.

The victim, a second year Sports major student was stabbed by a 5th year Engineering student from the same university after a brawl ensued between the two.

The student was rushed to the state-run Karak Hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The body was transferred to the Southern Center for Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem examination.

Clashes erupted between students following the incident at the entrance of the university. Security forces were dispatched to contain the fight.
