Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) prisons' administration conducted 'regular' shuffling of prisoners, that included 10 detained pro-reform activists.
Ammon News learned that the shuffling of detainees in prison included moving Fadi Masamra, Khalid Harasees, and Abdullah Mahadin to the Zarqa prison.
Oday Khatatneh, Muhammad Raoud, and Hisham Saraheen were moved to Ermemin prison, while Bara Saoud, Tareq Jawabreh, Mueen Harasees, and Abdul Muhdi Awajeen were taken to Muwaqar 1 prison.
A security source told Ammon News that the shuffling of prisoners is 'ordinary' and occurs regularly every Saturday in accordance with the Detention and Rehabilitation Centers internal bylaws.
Meanwhile, Ammon News learned that detained activist Oday Khataneh suspended his hunger strike, which started on October 14th, while another activist, Tareq Jawabreh embarked on his hunger strike starting October 17th.
Abdullah Mahadeen, a prominent activist in the pro-reform movement is still on a hunger strike since the 14th of October.
Jordanian authorities arrested and detained over 20 pro-reform activists in the past two months, many of them face sedition and anti-regime charges over slogans they held or chanted during pro-reform protests throughout the kingdom. The majority of them are being tried by the State Security Court, Jordan's military tribunal.
