Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – 12 visionary businessmen and women representing 10 companies were shortlisted as finalists for Ernst & Young’s Jordan Entrepreneur Of The Year Award 2011. Winners will be announced at the highly-anticipated award ceremony to be held under the Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein in March 2012. Finalists will be competing under two categories: the ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year’ category, represented by an entrepreneur who has maintained professional success over a sustained period of time, and the ‘Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year’ category which recognizes entrepreneurs who exemplify the start-up process at its best. Jordan’s ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year’ winner will represent the Kingdom at the World Entrepreneur Of The Year award ceremony slated for June 2012 in Monte Carlo.

Jordan’s 2011 finalists include Fares Sayegh from Ro’ya TV; Dr. Hassib Sahyoun from MedLabs Consultancy Group; Dr. Khaled Sharif from Sharif Eye Center; Mais Sukkar from RX Solutions; Dr. Mohammad Al-Banna from Innomedics; Osama Imseeh from Imseeh Jewelry; Randa Ayoubi from Rubicon; Reem and Samar Habayeb from Silsal; Salah Oqbi from Jordan Chalk; and Tamer Qarrain and Zaidoun Karadsheh from Media Plus.
