Ammon News - AMMAN - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Friday sent a cable to Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz congratulating him over appointing Prince Nayef Bin Abdel Aziz as Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The King wished the Saudi monarch continued good health and happiness and his people further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty also stressed Jordan's keenness on promoting ties with Saudi Arabia in various fields to serve both peoples' interests and support Arab solidarity and cooperation.

The King also sent a cable to Prince Nayef Bin Abdel Aziz congratulating him on the new position.
