Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Head of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Samih Bino met with founder of the Transparency International (TI) Peter Eigen and World Bank Consultant John Saba, according to a press release issued by the ACC on Monday.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the ACC’s procedures to enhance its role in fighting and preventing corruption.

Bino stressed the importance of activating the role of civil society institutions in the anti-corruption process, adding that the fight against corruption is a responsibility of all state departments, the private sector as well as civil society institutions.

Transparency International is a global civil society organization leading the fight against corruption.
