Khatib denies talks with Libyan parties

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - United Nations Special Envoy to Libya Abdul Ilah Al-Khatib has denied that he held talks with representatives of the National Transition Council (NTC) and the Libyan government in Tunisia.

Tunisian sources indicated that Khatib held secret negotiations with representatives of the Libyan government and the NTC in the Tunisian island of Djerba.

Head of the NTC Mustafa Abdul Jalil said that there are no negotiations, either direct or indirect, with the Gaddafi regime and or with UN special envoy to Libya ,Abdul Ilah al-Khatib.
