Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Demonstrating its commitment to protecting the environment and mitigating climate change, Evason Ma'In Hot Springs and Six Senses Spa, Jordan's eco-friendly luxurious touristic destination, has recently announced its participation for the third consecutive year in Earth Hour on a monthly basis.
On the 28th of every month, between 8:30pm and 9:30 pm, the resorts turn off its lights in most back-of-the-house areas and dim the lights in public areas, restaurants and hotel exteriors. Guests are encouraged to participate by turning off the lights in their rooms.
On this occasion, Mr. Raed Rabie, the General Manager of Evason Ma’In Hot Springs and Six Senses Spa commented: “As an environmentally conscious and socially responsible resort, it’s only fitting that we participate in the Earth Hour to help raise awareness for climate change with our employees and guests. This initiative is part of the Six Senses’ group program that aims at promoting the concept of greener and eco-friendly hotels.”
